Florida

We just returned from a mini vacation in Florida. Francis was there for work and Emily and I decided to tag along. So glad that we did. The hotel that we stayed at was beautiful. Right on the beach and had two swimming pools. Emily was in heaven. It was so nice to relax and give all my attention to Emily without having to cook, clean etc.

 Day One.
Spent at the pools and the beach. We swam and played for 7 hours!

Day Two. 

We headed down early and spent a couple hours on the beach, met daddy for lunch, and then had some pool time.

 

 

 

    

Emily met a friend while there. Her name is Maddy and she lives in Chicago. She had a puddle jumper too!

Day Three

Emily swam a little in the morning before we had to head off for the airport. 

 

 Such a fun trip. For at lease us girls anyway! Francis was busy working most of the time, but he was happy that we joined him. Somebody has to utilize the room, pools and beach, right? We sure did that! Thanks babe for working hard for your girls!

Why I love my Mondays

Ringing in 2013

We had a little NYE celebration here at our house this year. We invited our good friends, Jasmin, Rob and Selina over to celebrate with us. Although we didn't stay up until mid-night we still had fun! Party favors, mexican food, margaritas and ice cream cake. I made surprise balls for the girls and we ended the night with 3 ft. sparklers. The "adults" were joking about how the thought of celebrating at a bar or nightclub just does not sound fun at all. I guess that's what happens when you become parents and we are perfectly fine with that!
